AURORA BOREALIS NORTHERN LIGHTS

The aurora was named after the Roman goddess of dawn. It produced by sunlight reflected from polar snow and ice.


 The Lights can be seen from December to March when nights are longer and the sky is darker. It can usually be seen even as far south as Juneau.

Elevation - 9219 feet (2810 metres) Mount Roraima is also known as Cerro Roraima and Tepuy Roraima. It is the highest of the Pakaraima chain of tepui plateau in South America.
